Data shows that during the incident, levels reached 200 µg/m³, pushing the monthly average for April to 3,02 µg/m³. This figure exceeds the 2 µg/m³ annual reference threshold established by international environmental standards.

Despite the spring peak, the annual average in El Morell for 2025 dropped to 1,20 µg/m³, showing an improvement over 2024. Scientific monitoring led by the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) confirmed that 90% of the recorded values remained well within safety parameters.
Regarding benzene, the only compound with a legal limit of 5 µg/m³, all 22 monitoring points stayed below 1.5 µg/m³. However, slight increases were noted in areas near the southern petrochemical hub, including La Canonja and Bonavista, compared to previous years.
