The 21-year-old from Valls was unanimously selected by the jury for a poster that represents a collage of the territory, linking elements of cardiology, healthy eating, and the importance of a strong heart. Martínez's proposal stood out for its ability to raise health awareness.
The award ceremony took place on the panoramic terrace of the Hotel Olympus Palace 4. In this edition, the posters by Alba Pocurull and Andrea Hernández were recognized as finalists, each receiving a one-night stay at the hotel. The remaining participating students were also gifted by the establishment.
Gil Cristià, representative of the Hotel Olympus's ownership, expressed his gratitude to the students, the management, and the faculty of the Escola d'Art i Disseny de la Diputació de Tarragona for their involvement in the project.
Laura Casas, professor of the Professional Projects Management module, highlighted the enthusiasm and positive reception during the project's development, describing it as an 'adventure full of many emotions'.
The event was attended by various personalities, including representatives of the hotel's ownership, school directors, members of the Rotary Club Tarragona, the director of the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica CatSud, and the winner of the previous edition, Maira Isaura Rojas.
The annual charity dinner, held this year on Thursday, October 1st, aims to raise funds for research into the prevention of cardiovascular diseases at the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica CatSud and the Hospital Joan XXIII in Tarragona.
