The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, participated this March 5th in the ITB Berlin international tourism fair to highlight the town's model as a welcoming and diverse destination.

Speaking at the Queer Destinations stand, Granados emphasized that Salou was the first town in Catalonia to be certified as a Family Tourism Destination back in 2003. He stated that the municipality has successfully integrated diverse family models into its local tourism services.

"It is not a label or a trend, but a guarantee that any visitor arriving in Salou will feel safe, respected, and welcome."
