The Tarragona City Council is set to begin major road rehabilitation works at the Francolí industrial estate this Monday, March 16, focusing on infrastructure and mobility improvements.

The project, managed by Tecnofirmes, represents an investment of 664,144.8 euros. Works will cover the area from the start of the road to the Fire Station and are expected to last three months.
Key features include a new roundabout to improve access to the EMT parking lot and the A-27 highway. Additionally, a new water collector will be installed to upgrade the area's drainage system.

"Finally, the Francolí estate will be dignified; it is a strategic industrial point that for too many years did not receive the investment it deserved."

Traffic disruptions are expected, with lane closures scheduled until Easter. Following this period, provisional diversions will be implemented to facilitate the completion of the works.
