The Tarragona City Council is set to launch road rehabilitation works at the Francolí industrial estate this Monday, March 16, featuring a new roundabout and an upgraded drainage collector.

The project covers the section from the start of the road to the Fire Station. This intervention aims to modernize the infrastructure of one of Tarragona's key industrial hubs, which has lacked significant investment for several years.

"Finally, the Francolí Industrial Estate will be dignified, one of the strategic industrial points for the city, which for too many years had not received the investment it deserved."

Contracted to Tecnofirmas for 664,144.8 euros, the works are expected to last three months. A new roundabout will improve access to the EMT parking area and the connection to the A-27 highway.
The plan also includes a new water collector to prevent flooding. Traffic will be affected by lane closures until Easter, followed by temporary diversions as the construction progresses.
