The Tarragona culinary scene celebrated on Monday as Cervus in Reus and QuintaForca in Nulles were each awarded a prestigious Repsol Sun.

The announcement took place at the Palau de Congressos de Tarragona, bringing the total number of restaurants with this distinction in the province to 15. This recognition highlights the diversity of the local gastronomy, from innovative fusion to traditional farm-to-table concepts.
Cervus, led by Lucía Fernández and Nil Bono, blends Catalan and Andalusian roots, while QuintaForca, run by Xavier Fabra and Mercè Cabestany, focuses on the slow food movement within an 18th-century farmhouse surrounded by vineyards.

"We create a local, organic, and spontaneous cuisine without pretension, using freshly harvested products."
