Tarragona hosts the prestigious Repsol Guide Suns gala

The city becomes the Spanish culinary capital with 83 new awards presented at the Palau de Congressos.

On Monday, February 16, Tarragona became the center of the culinary world as it hosted the Repsol Guide Suns gala at the Palau de Congressos.

The event, hosted by Lorena Castell and Jorge Ponce, saw 83 new 'Suns' awarded to restaurants across the country. Local highlights included first-time winners Quinta Forca in Nulles and Cervus in Reus, while Les Moles from Ulldecona earned a Sustainable Sun award.

Renowned chefs such as Joan Roca and Elena Arzak attended the ceremony, which concluded with a cocktail dinner prepared by Nandu Jubany featuring local delicacies like Tarragona white prawns and traditional calçots.
