The Tarragona Port Museum introduced a new digital audio guide this Thursday, available via the Visitmuseum app, designed to offer a deeper look into the city's maritime legacy.

The guide features thirteen tracks presented as a conversation between a female port agent and her son. This creative approach highlights the role of women in the maritime sector and the importance of museum donors. It covers key exhibits such as the Capitán Argüello vessel and archaeological remains from Plaça dels Carros.

"It is a tool to bring the seafaring and port world closer to the citizens."

Jordi Medina · Head of Mediation at the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage
Offered in Catalan, Spanish, English, and French, the tool aims to serve the growing number of international visitors. In 2025, the museum welcomed nearly 28,000 guests, with significant attendance from the United Kingdom and France.
