The program, organized by Tarragona Cultura, includes twenty shows encompassing large and small format musical proposals, as well as circus and dance performances. These will be distributed across various emblematic venues in the city, with the Auditori Camp de Mart serving as the main hub for activities.
The edition will kick off with the operatic production Carmen, presented by Amics de la Lírica, scheduled for Friday, June 26 and Sunday, June 28. This staging will feature artistic direction by Àngel Òdena and musical direction by Òliver Díaz, with the collaboration of the Orquestra Camerata XXI-Ciutat de Reus, the Cor de l'Òpera de Tarragona, and the Cor Infantil del Conservatori i l'Escola de Música de Tarragona.
Among the most anticipated concerts, the Camp de Mart will host Asturian artist Rodrigo Cuevas on Saturday, July 11, presenting his new artistic proposal La Belleza. Subsequently, Lila Downs will perform on Saturday, July 18, and Luz Casal will take the stage on July 25, touring her new album Me voy a permitir. Alicante-born guitarist Yerai Cortés will arrive at the Camp de Mart on Saturday, August 1, following the success of the film La Guitarra Flamenca de Yerai Cortés and the release of his eponymous contemporary flamenco album.
Other notable artists include Maika Makovski, who will present Bunker Rococo at the Teatre de Tarragona on July 31. The Jardins del Camp de Mart will be the setting for the street show Epiphytes by the Belgian company Cie des Chaussons Rouges. The Banda Unió Musical de Tarragona (BUMT) will join Dàmaris Gelabert at the Teatre de Tarragona on Sunday, July 5, with a family-oriented proposal titled És l'hora de la banda. The Quartet Mèlt will embark on a new phase with Lo país mèlt at the Auditori de la Diputació on Sunday, July 12.
The Refugi Sonor will host small-format proposals, with the inaugural performance by Los Sara Fontan on July 16, followed by Bernarda on July 23, KIW on July 30, and the collective Neromambola on August 5. The festival will culminate with the Nit Jove, co-organized with the Servei Municipal de Joventut as part of the Festival Sota la Palmera, featuring the groups Compota de Manana, La Sra. Tomasa, and a DJ set by Wu Shido.
In the realm of dance and circus, the company Mal Pelo will present Inventions on Friday, July 10, at the Camp de Mart, a choral piece with sixteen performers. Additionally, there will be free family circus shows at the Auditori Camp de Mart on Fridays in July, such as Lua by Alba Sarraute and Les Ofèlies, and El Gran Cabaret de Circ i Collage by BotProject. Tickets for the various events will go on sale on Wednesday, April 15.
