On Saturday afternoon, the Cós Blanc will be the star event of the Salou Winter Festival, known for being the largest confetti shower in Catalonia. The following day, Sunday, the Tarraco Arena will host the Disfressa d'Or, with about fifteen troupes kicking off the Tarragona Carnival.
Music will also play a prominent role with the second event of the Reus Cultura Contemporània festival. This Friday, the Sala Lo Submarino in Reus will host performances by Ari Guada, Santa Salut, and Sofía Gabanna.
Furthermore, Vila-seca is recovering the traditional Sant Antoni horse races, which had to be postponed three weeks ago due to rain, and will be held on Sunday, February 8.
Finally, the agenda includes several exhibitions at the Port de Tarragona. The exhibition Mestres de l'escultura del segle XX (Masters of 20th Century Sculpture) at Tinglado 2 del Moll de Costa stands out, in addition to two further exhibitions at the Museu del Port, such as Dones de Mar: Oficis amb nom de dona.
