La Pineda Sand Nativity Scene closes with a record of over 250,000 visitors

The 26th edition of this ephemeral artwork in Vila-seca has exceeded expectations, establishing itself as a family reference point on the Costa Daurada.

The ephemeral artwork on La Pineda Beach, in Vila-seca, concludes its 26th edition with over 250,000 registered visitors until January 6, and its destruction is scheduled for Friday, January 9.

The destruction work of the Sand Nativity Scene will be carried out tomorrow, Friday, January 9, at 10 am, by a special team from the Municipal Brigade and technicians from the Municipal Tourism Board. The public attendance, which exceeded 250,000 visitors since December 1, was quantified using a sensor system that detected mobile phone signals.
