The municipality of Bellcaire d'Urgell has successfully celebrated the tenth edition of Firabell, its benchmark fair dedicated to commerce, industry, and crafts. According to municipal sources, the event has consolidated its presence in the town's streets, attracting between 2,500 and 3,000 attendees, maintaining levels from previous years.
Beyond the seventy stalls featuring artisanal producers, the event stood out this year for the inclusion of technological innovations. Among the most relevant activities were demonstrations of robotics, artificial intelligence, and the use of drones applied to the agricultural sector, an initiative that was very well received by the public.
“"The initiative has been very well received by the public and has served to show that technology is the future in the field."
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Generalitat de Catalunya and other local authorities. During the day, the role of local fairs as showcases for talent and entrepreneurship in the Urgell region was highlighted.
This edition also served to pay tribute to the figure of the historical promoter of the event, who was the mayor of the municipality, with the participation of guests who wanted to remember his decisive contribution to the creation and consolidation of Firabell.
