The institution has achieved a record number of participants, leading to the creation of a waiting list for future enrollments. President Florentí Sans highlighted the high attendance at all weekly talks, filling the 500 seats at the Teatre Ateneu.
The mayor of Tàrrega, Rosa Maria Perelló, celebrated the consolidation of this initiative, launched in 2003, as part of the city's annual calendar. She emphasized the classroom's importance in promoting active aging, coexistence, and socialization, thanking the support of the Universitat de Lleida.
The closing ceremony of the 22nd edition featured a lecture by historian and writer Assumpta Montellà on the 'Lleva del Biberó' (Baby Bottle Levy). The academic year offered around thirty lectures and four excursions, with particular success for talks such as the inaugural one by Quim Torra on the status of the Catalan language, and those by writer Antoni Puigvert and health professionals from the CAP of Tàrrega.
