The drinking water supply in Tàrrega has returned to normal after the utility company successfully repaired the breakdown that had affected the main pipeline since Wednesday.

The incident, which damaged the pipe connecting the treatment plant to the municipal reservoirs at parc de Sant Eloi, has been resolved by the company Veolia. Technical work has allowed for the restoration of water flow throughout the urban network.
As a direct result of the repair, the municipal swimming pool facilities will have water service restored to showers and taps in the coming hours. This measure had been temporarily restricted to preserve water reserves while repair work was underway.
Both the local council and the service provider have expressed their gratitude for the cooperation of residents during the outage, while reiterating the importance of maintaining responsible water consumption.
