At 08.43 AM, staff at the Catalunya Avenue store alerted authorities after noticing an intense fuel-like odor. Three fire crews confirmed elevated gas levels using specialized equipment, leading to a two-hour closure of the premises.
Local Police managed traffic in the area while Tàrrega City Council technicians ventilated the underground pipes. No injuries or cases of gas poisoning were reported, and the situation was brought under control shortly after the intervention.
