The Tàrrega City Council has established 25 new blue zone parking spots at the former bus station site to facilitate access to the city's main commercial district.

In addition to the station site, 6 more spaces have been added to Mestre Güell Street. These 31 new spots compensate for the removal of parking elsewhere in the city center, where sidewalks were widened and new loading zones were created for better accessibility.

"This measure is provisional while we define the future uses for the old station."

The project has been authorized by the Government of Catalonia. The city has also upgraded its parking meters to include solar power and digital payment options such as Bizum and mobile apps like ElParking.
