The Tàrrega City Council is launching a tender this Thursday, February 19, to award 11 new licenses for street vending at the weekly Monday market in the capital of Urgell.

This initiative aims to modernize the market by introducing new categories such as local km 0 products, handmade crafts, cosmetics, and home goods. The expansion also includes a food truck, enhancing the gastronomic variety of the event.
The new stalls will be located in key areas like Carrer del Carme and Plaça Major, bringing the total number of vendors to 70. Licenses will be valid for 15 years, with the selection process focusing on product quality and sustainability.

"With this new call, the Tàrrega City Council reaffirms its commitment to boosting local trade and modernizing the weekly market."
