Tàrrega City Council will make the municipal campsite available to citizens on Monday, April 6 for the traditional Easter Mona celebration, offering an open-air space with amenities.

The Tàrrega municipal campsite will open its doors on Monday, April 6 from 12 noon, allowing families and groups of friends to enjoy the Easter Mona in a natural setting. The City Council's initiative aims to provide a local alternative for this festivity, avoiding travel outside the city.
Attendees will be able to use the picnic tables and barbecues available at the site. In addition, children's games have been organized for the little ones, ensuring a day of entertainment for all ages. Access to the campsite is free, but prior reservation is required to guarantee the availability of tables and chairs.

The initiative, which began in 2017 and was only interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, has always had significant popular acceptance, gathering over half a thousand people last year.

The Culture department has already opened the reservation period, which can be made through the website culturatarrega.cat/mona or in person at the Museu Tàrrega Urgell shop, located at Carrer Major, 11. Places are limited and will be allocated until exhausted.
The campsite, located on Avinguda de Tarragona, features an extensive wooded area of 9,000 square meters. Since 2012, this facility has been dedicated to the memory of Felip Robinat, a renowned promoter of the Fira del Caçador, an event held annually in the same space.
