This edition of the cycle, already established as a benchmark in local historical dissemination, introduces an earlier session time of 7:00 PM to facilitate public attendance. All activities are free and open to the public, and will later be available on the Espai Ermengol's YouTube channel.
The program will begin on May 6 with the conference “La Seu, year 1462: the other civil war,” presented by Carles Gascón. On May 13, Llorenç Dalmau will discuss the figure of “Pau Claris, from canon of Urgell to president of the Generalitat.” On May 20, Daniel Fité Erill will analyze “The urban transformation of La Seu d’Urgell (1924–1926),” and on May 27, Carla Garrido and Oscar Augé will reveal “What the Patio de las Monges hides,” concerning recent archaeological findings.
One of the most notable sessions will be the guided tour “The sculpture of the cathedral,” taking place on June 3 and led by Teresa Font and Carles Gascón. This activity does not require prior registration. Additionally, on May 21, in collaboration with the Institut Escola d’Oliana, the 'Recerca Jove' session will be held, where two 4th-year ESO students will present their research on Francoist repression in Oliana and La Seu d’Urgell.
The cycle is supported by various entities, including the Institut d’Estudis Comarcals de l’Alt Urgell (IECAU), the Consell Comarcal de l’Alt Urgell, the Arxiu Comarcal, and, for the first time, the Museu de la Catedral de la Seu d’Urgell.
