The Mayor of Preixana, Jaume Pané, closed the twelfth edition of the De Prop gastronomic fair successfully, highlighting the participation of 25 exhibitors and the consolidation of the new cultural format.

The event, held in Preixana, has become a benchmark in promoting zero-kilometre products in the Urgell region. Jaume Pané thanked the exhibitors for their confidence, many of whom return year after year, and stressed the importance of new additions.

"We are very happy with the participation of about twenty-five exhibitors, to whom we sincerely thank for their confidence, since without them –who are the true heart of the fair– nothing would be possible."

Notable novelties included the debut of the local catering service Cal Treixiner, which offered a showcooking, and the presence of new producers from the region. The fair reinforced its identity of proximity with the presentation of the bulk vending machine KiloZero and the new Torró de Pedra Seca (Dry Stone Nougat) from the Leader de Ponent association.
The new cultural focus, promoted in partnership with the Paupaterres association, included a concert by the children's choirs Mestre Güell from Tàrrega and Nova Cervera, a performance by singer-songwriter Miquel del Roig, and a graffiti workshop with Tope. Additionally, the sixth edition of the Entre Cabanes race and walk was held, which sold out all 400 registrations.
The inauguration of the event was led by Socialist Deputy Judith Alcalà, accompanied by Mayor Jaume Pané and the fair director, Sandra Heras. They all agreed on highlighting the quality of the products made in the territory and the need to promote them.
