The CEACA Tàrrega has launched a project to promote handball among middle primary cycle students in several city schools, with the support of the Catalan Handball Federation.

The initiative, which began this week, aims to familiarize children with the practice of this sport. The sessions are integrated into the school timetable, specifically during Physical Education classes, and are taught by CEACA Tàrrega coaches, with the collaboration of teachers from each educational center.
The schools participating in this first phase of the project are Vedruna, Àngel Guimerà, Jacint Verdaguer, and Maria Mercè Marçal. The club has expressed special gratitude for the positive disposition and involvement of these centers, considering them key factors for the proposal's success.
This action is part of the Catalan Handball Federation's desire to strengthen the presence of this sport in schools, and it actively involves a federative promotion technician. CEACA highly values this initiative, as it sees it as an opportunity to grow the club from its lower categories and consolidate handball in the city of Tàrrega.
The project will culminate with a series of open training sessions organized by the club and a final gathering of all participating schools, coordinated by the Catalan Handball Federation. With this commitment, CEACA reinforces its dedication to grassroots sports and the promotion of healthy habits among the municipality's youth.
