The company Cia. Passabarret and Eudald Ferré are presenting their acclaimed co-production La Caravana del Dr Masterfil at the Centro de Creación Contemporánea Matadero Madrid from December 20 to December 30.

This unique scenic proposal is part of the special program “Madrid, Navidad de Encuentro 2025–2026” and offers an itinerant and immersive experience for all audiences. The work, which evokes 1950s fairground entertainers with touches of science fiction, is the new co-production of the two companies, benchmarks in visual theatre and contemporary circus.
The audience literally enters the universe of Doctor Masterfil, an eccentric and visionary character. The action unfolds inside a specially designed scenic caravan, transformed into a narrative and sensory space where spectators experience the action close to the performers.
One of the most notable features of La Caravana del Dr Masterfil is the organic fusion between the language of puppetry and clowning. The puppets, conceived with great plastic care, coexist with human characters who act through playfulness, absurdity, and complicity, all set against a science fiction backdrop.
The show has been excellently received in the circuit of fairs and festivals, having been featured at Fira Trapezi (2024) and Fira Tàrrega (2025). This projection is reinforced by its confirmed participation in the Feria de Leioa in 2026, one of the most important performing arts events in Spain.
