Vuela Abejorro by Javier Guerrero or the Epic of Knowing How to Fly

A work destined to leave its mark on those who dare to keep flying

Javier Guerrero and his work Vuela Abejorro

The most difficult flight is not taking off, and Javier Guerrero demonstrates this in Vuela Abejorro

Javier Guerrero publishes Vuela Abejorro, a reflection on the strength that is born after the success of Sé Abejorro  from the publisher Tu escritor.  The media-savvy lawyer and writer returns to the literary scene with a work that offers a different perspective on personal growth.
Instead of focusing on the moment of achieving a goal, the author directs attention to the challenge of maintaining balance when objectives have already been met and a stage marked by new uncertainties begins.
The essay presents an emotional journey through twenty-one chapters, exploring issues such as resilience, identity, loss, and adaptability. Through introspective narration, Guerrero invites the reader to reflect on those situations that rarely occupy the center of the success narrative: the void that can appear after achieving a purpose, the pressure to sustain what has been achieved, and the need to reconcile with one's own history.
With this new publication, the author continues to develop the symbolic universe initiated with Sé Abejorro. If in that first installment the bumblebee represented the impulse to overcome one's own limits, in Vuela Abejorro that metaphor evolves to become a reflection on the constancy and strength needed to keep moving forward when the applause and certainties disappear.
The work also incorporates a critical look at the pace of current society, where immediacy and productivity often take precedence over personal well-being. Guerrero suggests that true growth does not always consist of reaching new goals, but rather of learning to live with one's own experiences without them conditioning the future.
Among the ideas that underpin the book is one reflection that summarizes its central message: 'Taking off shows courage; staying airborne reveals character'.
The work has been available since July 22 on Amazon and will soon be available in bookstores. The book is the second installment of a trilogy, with its conclusion planned for 2027.
As part of the book's presentation, the author will participate in various reader events in Madrid, Barcelona, and Zaragoza during 2026, where he will share the main ideas inspiring this new literary project and open spaces for dialogue on the topics addressed.
A phrase that synthesizes the work's philosophy is that personal development continues long after success has been achieved.
