Castellbisbal Celebrates Cultural Weekend with Books, Games, and Environmental Activities

The town in Vallès Occidental will host various proposals for all audiences on April 18 and 19, including literary presentations and board game tournaments.

The municipality of Castellbisbal is preparing for a weekend full of cultural activities on April 18 and 19, offering proposals ranging from literature to board games and environmental awareness.

On Saturday, April 18, reading enthusiasts can attend the presentation of the book Fites d'infinit, a work that explores the limits of the visible and the intuitive through impactful stories. The event will take place at 12:00 PM at Llibreria 14pm.
In the afternoon of the same Saturday, the Lúdico-Festiva Hobby Garrafot association is organizing the fifth edition of its Catan tournament, the V Catanbisbal. Participants will compete for magnificent prizes and rewards starting at 5:00 PM at the Sala Polivalent d'Els Costals.
On Sunday, April 19, the Jugatecambiental proposes the activity "The good consumer: sustainable and healthy," an initiative that combines fun and education to raise awareness about environmental values. The activity, which will include a cooking recipe, will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Parc de l'Ermita.
Additionally, the weekend will feature several exhibitions. The Museu de la Pagesia hosts "La Vella Quaresma. El calendari de les set cames," an exhibition showcasing the 20th-century figure collection of folklorist Joan Amades. Meanwhile, the Biblioteca Municipal Josep Mateu i Miró presents a small-format exhibition on the life and artistic career of Francesc Català-Roca, commemorating the centenary of his birth.
