CP San Cristóbal continues to restructure its squad for the upcoming 2026/2027 season. This week, the club officially announced the first player departures who will not continue to wear their colours. Salva Torreño, Mor Diop, and Hugo García are the notable names in this initial announcement of departures.
Regarding Salva Torreño, the club's management stated that the player did not accept the renewal offer, leading to his departure. Hugo García will also not remain with the Ca n'Anglada team, according to club sources, due to "personal choice." Meanwhile, Mor Diop's loan spell has ended, and he will return to his parent club, CE Manresa.
The changes do not stop there. The team managed by Cristian García has also confirmed five contract renewals. Carlos Olmo, brother of FC Barcelona player Dani Olmo, will play his fourth season with the club. Àlex Fernàndez, former captain of CE Sabadell who joined last season, will also continue under García's guidance. Additionally, winger Marc Mujal has extended his contract until 2028.
In goal, Carles Segura, the regular starter, will embark on his fifth season with the Egarense club. Adrián Tapia will also stay for another year, despite limited playing time this campaign.
These five renewals are in addition to those previously announced, such as captains Mario Cantí and Ricki Calamardo, and Max Llovera, Jordi Ranera, Adrià Alsina, and Guillem Hernández, who will also remain with the club until 2028.
