The Catalan Housing Agency has requested the court to halt the eviction of a family with three minor children in Terrassa, which was scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, in the Can Jofresa district.

The decision follows intense mobilization by the Mortgage Victims Platform (PAH) and the Pau Vila i Dinarès school. Local authorities, including Housing Councilor Lluïsa Melgares, intervened by providing reports on the family's vulnerability to the regional government, which owns the property.

"The suffering of these children could have been avoided much sooner with more agile management."

The family has lived in the apartment on Menéndez i Pelayo street for five years. They are currently in the process of regularizing their legal status in Spain, a procedure that would have been blocked if they had lost their home and official registration.
