The award, endowed with 600 euros, recognizes innovative educational projects. The 'Fúria' project takes place during the final days of the December term and involves all secondary school students, focusing on a common thematic axis to work on community spirit and cultural identity.
According to the school's director, Marçal Botey, the project's name was intended to be "symbolic and groundbreaking to generate reflection" and address the coexistence of "many different realities and cultures within the institute."
One of the notable activities was the creation of eleven 'capgrossos' (large-headed figures) by 2nd-year secondary students, designed in groups with the aim of having a presence beyond the school walls, within the city of Sabadell.
The project has collaborated with entities from Sabadell's cultural scene, such as the Gegants de la Concòrdia, l'Animalada, and the Bruixes del Nord. The school's management emphasizes the desire to consolidate these initiatives with external projection.
This is not the first recognition for the institute, which previously received the Baldiri Reixac award for Escola Transformadora for its project Escèniques.
