The incident was reported at 12:41 p.m. on Sunday near the Sol i Padrís bridge, precisely where the Mollet road enters the urban area of Sabadell. The falling earth necessitated the closure of the road, which is a high-volume traffic section, causing significant delays.
The Generalitat Firefighters and technicians from the Sabadell City Council quickly deployed to the site to inspect the affected embankment and ensure the safety of the B-140 road. The route remained closed until cleanup and safety verification tasks were completed, restoring traffic flow.
