The Terrassa Municipal Police arrested a man on Tuesday, January 27, in District 2 for damaging fifteen parked vehicles, and Firefighters intervened the following day in the Segle XX neighborhood to remove a skylight at risk of falling.

The arrest occurred after neighbors alerted the 112 emergency number about an individual causing extensive damage to parked cars on the public road in Terrassa. A unit of the Municipal Police quickly arrived at the scene, confirming that about fifteen vehicles had been affected, mainly suffering damage to their rearview mirrors.
Officers conducted a search of the area and located the man hiding inside one of the vehicles. The individual fully matched the description provided by the witnesses. After compiling the damage report, the alleged perpetrator was arrested and taken to the police station on Avinguda de les Glòries Catalanes, where proceedings were initiated for a crime of damage.
Separately, emergency services had to intervene on Wednesday, January 28, morning in the Segle XX neighborhood of Terrassa. Residents warned that a skylight plate, approximately 4 meters long, in the building's interior courtyard was at risk of completely detaching and falling.
Units from the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) and the Municipal Police were dispatched to Carrer de Guillem de Muntanyans i Gasòmetre. The intervention was carried out quickly from the exterior using a ladder truck, successfully removing the precarious skylight and preventing potential harm to pedestrians and drivers.
