The event, which has already established itself as a key date on the cultural calendar, will take place in venues such as the Vapor de Prodis, Vapor Albinyana, Museu Tèxtil, MNACTEC, Masia Freixa, and the warehouses of Cal Reig. The official program launch occurred on July 9.
The Deputy Mayor for City Projection, Joan Salvador, emphasized the festival's aim to position Terrassa as a creative and innovative tourist destination, leveraging the fusion of fashion and audiovisual. Salvador highlighted that Moaré is a "different" festival that combines "heritage, creativity, fashion, cinema, and talent," elements that, in his view, "only Terrassa brings together".
Among the major novelties, the third edition will host the MOARÉ 2026 Fashion Films Contest, open to creators, students, and professionals wishing to submit short audiovisual pieces exploring fashion from an artistic perspective. Selected works will be screened on October 16, the same day that will feature an awards ceremony at the Vapor de Prodis. Filmmaker Geoffrey Cowper explained that a fashion film is "an audiovisual piece where the connection with fashion is central to its narrative".
The festival's other significant highlight is a fashion performance organized by designer Txell Miras, scheduled for October 17. This performance aims to move away from conventional fashion shows, featuring non-professional models and clothing that will be available for purchase afterwards at the Soc Mercat del Vapor de Prodis. Miras noted that the models will be "people from the street" wearing "clothes that can be found in stores".
The program will be rounded out with a masterclass by Núria Brau, a roundtable discussion on cinema and audiovisual in Terrassa, a dialogue with Mercer Paloma, family activities, gastronomy, and clothing markets. The festival also unveils a new image, designed by the agency Evil Love, which evolves to represent "audiovisual interferences" linked to textiles.
