The Montcada i Reixac City Council has inaugurated a new Office for Municipal Waste Collection and Street Cleaning Services at Carrer Major, 126, to improve citizen access to services.

The new office, located at Carrer Major, 126, will be open from Mondays to Fridays, from 12 PM to 3 PM, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4:30 PM to 8 PM. This space aims to provide information and advice on the various municipal waste and street cleaning services.
The mayor, Bartolo Egea, and the president of the Services Area, Dámaris Sánchez, visited the facilities to see their operation firsthand. Accompanied by representatives from the FCC company, they learned how the office serves as a reference point for resolving doubts and handling inquiries.
The space will offer assistance on personalized commercial waste collection, bulky items, the recycling center (including mobile and mini-centers), textile waste collection, and cooking oil. Citizens can also consult service schedules, get information on prevention and awareness campaigns, and report incidents related to waste management and public space cleaning.
Through this initiative, the City Council seeks to foster a more direct relationship with citizens and establish the office as a stable and accessible information point, continuing awareness efforts on proper waste management.
