The Municipal Police of Terrassa has announced a special operation to ensure coexistence and public safety during the Festa Major, taking place from July 3rd to 8th.

The Terrassa City Council has detailed that police presence will be increased in the most crowded areas, including constant patrols in public spaces and event coverage, with special reinforcement for large-scale events.
Specific checks will be carried out to prevent pickpocketing of wallets and mobile phones, especially near closing times. Additionally, traffic will be managed at key points such as Arquimedes street, Galileu street, and Àngel Sallent avenue to avoid congestion and ensure the proper functioning of public transport.
The safety of children is a priority, with a lost child assistance point at the City Hall's atrium, in the raval de Montserrat. Free identification bracelets for children, allowing name and contact number to be written, will also be distributed. These can be collected at Casa Soler i Palet, on Font Vella street, and at the Family Festa Major in Parc de Vallparadís.
Finally, campaigns to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and drugs through static checks will be intensified.
