Firefighters received the alert at 9:42 AM when a car, occupied by four people, plunged onto the train tracks after leaving Moragas i Barret street in Sabadell. The vehicle overturned, but all occupants managed to exit unharmed, except for one who sustained more serious injuries.
Despite the resumption of service, Renfe is maintaining an alternative bus service between Cerdanyola and Terrassa to ensure passenger mobility while frequencies return to normal.
The firefighters' intervention, which lasted approximately one hour, included the evacuation of the injured and the removal of the vehicle from the tracks. The train traveling on the affected section managed to stop in time, avoiding any collision with the car and causing no injuries among its passengers.
The most seriously injured individual was transported by police officers to the train station, where they received attention from the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM).
