The city of Rubí is preparing for a week full of activities, including the 1st Children's 'Gegantons' Gathering and the inauguration of a new facility for artistic gymnastics.

The Colla de Geganters de Rubí is organizing the 1st Children's 'Gegantons' Gathering, an event that will bring together about fifteen invited groups. This gathering will commemorate 70 years of the 'gegantons' tradition in the city, as well as the anniversaries of the figures of Laia (30 years) and Galderic (20 years).
Furthermore, Rubí has inaugurated a new facility dedicated to the practice of artistic gymnastics, which will become the headquarters of GAER. This installation represents a significant boost for local sports.
On another note, this Monday will see the last activity of Earth Day 2026 in Rubí, which has offered various proposals for all audiences throughout its commemoration.
In a different field, a team of professionals, father and son, are responsible for the robotization and automation of plants for large companies such as Seat, Nissan, Airbus, and Inditex. Their robots, developed and programmed in Rubí, are present in factories of world industry leaders.
Finally, the local media outlet TOT Rubí will celebrate its tenth anniversary with an event open to all citizens, with prior registration until capacity is reached. A local historian has also highlighted Casa Muxí, on Sant Jaume street, as a notable example of popular modernism in the city.
