The Club Rugby Sant Cugat S14 A has secured the First Catalan League title after defeating Cabale 34-17, remaining undefeated throughout the season and with strong prospects of competing in the Spanish Championship.

Last Saturday, Club Rugby Sant Cugat experienced a memorable day with their senior men's team's victory against Valencia and, notably, the S14 A team's championship win. This triumph, with a score of 34-17 against Cabale, marks the club's first major division title this season and positions them favorably to once again compete in the Spanish Championship, which they won last year.
The Sant Cugat players started the match with great determination at La Foixarda field in Barcelona. By the 20th minute, Borja Marcos had already scored two tries, establishing an early lead. Despite the response from the Cabrera-Badalona-Alella combined team with a try from Aran Jiménez eight minutes later, Sant Cugat maintained the initiative. Before halftime, Guillem Garcia added another try for the home side, while Gerard Esteban scored for Cabale, leaving the score at a close 15-10.
The second half was a constant battle until the final minutes. Garcia again extended the lead to 20-10, but Cabale quickly reacted with a try from Rafel Rodríguez, narrowing the gap to 20-17 and creating moments of tension among the spectators. However, Leo Crook restored calm with a 27-17 score, and finally, Teo Rodríguez's try sealed the victory, confirming Club Rugby Sant Cugat's win and their unbeaten record throughout the season.
