July has begun in Sabadell with temperatures slightly lower than at the end of June. According to the Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya (Meteocat), daytime maximums will not exceed 32 ºC in the coming days, a decrease from the over 35 ºC recorded in June. Predominantly sunny skies are expected with some ephemeral clouds, but no rain is forecast.
Despite the drop in daytime temperatures, nights will remain warm, exceeding 20 ºC, indicating the persistence of tropical nights. Between midnight and 7 AM, temperatures will range between 20 ºC and 23 ºC, although a slight decrease is expected from Saturday onwards.
June 2026 has solidified its position as the second hottest in Sabadell since the Meteocat station began recording data in October 2009. The month's average temperature was 24 ºC, surpassed only by June of the previous year (25.2 ºC). This figure makes the recent June the second warmest in at least the last 18 years, ahead of summer 2022 (23.8 ºC) and 2017 (23.7 ºC).
The month started with cooler temperatures, with the lowest average of the period (17.8 ºC) recorded on the 5th. From June 12th onwards, maximum temperatures did not drop below 30 ºC, with an average of 25.8 ºC between June 12th and 30th, contrasting with the 20.9 ºC average recorded between the 1st and 11th of the same month.
