The Sabadell Municipal Market Platform has confirmed that the Campoamor facility will include local demands, although demolition and construction works still lack an official start date.

The future market in southern Sabadell will feature seven commercial stalls and an internal social corridor. This redesign follows a petition signed by over a thousand residents who also requested the installation of an ATM within the premises.

"The proposal made by the neighbors has been included in the Campoamor market project."

The supermarket chain Consum will fund the entire project in exchange for a 40-year land use agreement. While the demolition license has been granted, the final executive project is still pending to determine the exact reopening date, initially estimated for 2027.
