Terrassa Fills with Culture: Concerts, Theater, and Circus This Weekend

The city of Terrassa offers a wide agenda of activities for all audiences, from the celebration of the Banda de Terrassa to dance and magic shows.

The city of Terrassa is gearing up for a weekend full of cultural activities on April 18 and 19, offering a varied program that includes concerts, theater performances, circus acts, and magic shows for all audiences.

The Banda de Terrassa is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a grand festival called '25 anys Fent Ciutat', taking place on Saturday, April 18. The day will begin at 5 PM with the gathering of entities at Vapor Ventalló, followed by a parade at 6 PM that will wind through the city center to Raval de Montserrat. The celebration will culminate with a final concert at 7:15 PM at the Atrium of Terrassa City Hall.
The Teatre Alegria will host two prominent proposals. On Saturday, April 18, at 7 PM, the company We Are Novias will present the show You are not a ghost (Yanag), a piece exploring dissociation and the experience of doubling. The following day, Sunday, April 19, at 5 PM, it will be the turn of Història de la llana by Rauxa, an object theater show featuring circus, live music, and projections, recommended for all audiences aged 4 and up.
Music will also take center stage with several concerts. On Saturday, April 18, at 9 PM, the Auditori Municipal de Terrassa will host the 'Cor amb Cor' concert by Tons i Sons. Later, at 10:30 PM, the Cafè de l'Aula will offer a blues night with the Lluís Coloma Trio, as part of the 1st Terrassa Blues Festival. Additionally, the Sala Xavi Sallent will present the musical ALICE AL CAP with two sessions, on Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 PM.
Other proposals include the magic show 'El món de Maty Popins' at the Cafè-Teatre L'Artista on Saturday, April 18, at 9 PM, and the comedy 'L'èxit d'un fracassat' with Bohigues&Cia at the Sala Crespi del Casal del Sant Pere de Terrassa, also on Saturday at 9 PM. Finally, on Sunday, April 19, Tub d'Assaig will celebrate World Circus Day with an open day that will include 'Circ en Família' at 10 AM, 'Cabaret Escola en Escena' at 12 PM, and the presentation of AsKe at 6 PM.
