The Rubí City Council has launched the «We Can Still Play a Lot» campaign, which from November 9 to 27 will collect toys in good condition to give a second life to children from vulnerable families in the municipality.

This year, the solidarity and environmental initiative brings together 14 educational centers, including the three municipal nursery schools, to encourage more families to participate. The collected toys will be distributed by Cáritas Diocesana de Rubí, especially for the Christmas holidays.
The campaign accepts toys and games in good condition, unbroken, and with all pieces. Toys with wheels for children aged 1 to 5, such as motorcycles, cars, scooters, bicycles, construction sets, board games, and games for teenagers, are particularly valued. For health reasons, stuffed animals, dolls with hair or clothing, and war-themed, sexist, damaged, or incomplete toys will not be accepted.
Promoted by the City Council's Waste Education Service, the campaign aims to prevent usable toys from becoming waste, extending their lifespan and reducing discarded materials. The initiative is part of an ongoing commitment to reuse throughout the year.
