This traffic restriction is part of the Urban Improvement Plan for the Rubí Road, 223 (PM-CRU223), a project aimed at transforming the area into a new residential, commercial, and service zone, featuring green spaces and new road layouts. The overall project began last year and is expected to last 18 months, concluding this summer.
The closure, effective from Monday, February 8 until March 6, will lead to significant changes in public transport. Bus line L8 (Avenues) will be diverted via Guillem de Muntanyans Street and Santa Eulàlia Avenue.
Due to this deviation, the Segle XX and Arxiu Comarcal stops will be canceled for line L8, and a provisional stop will be set up on Torras i Bages Street, 153.
Although the 'Arxiu Comarcal' (lines L9 and L10) and 'Segle XX' (L9) stops will not be canceled, the City Council warns that the deviations from the usual routes of the lines could cause delays and operation outside of the scheduled timetable.
Regarding private vehicles wishing to access Terrassa from the Rubí road, they must detour via Santa Eulàlia Avenue and Valls and Torras i Bages Streets, or via Tren de Baix Street. Vehicles traveling southbound towards the Can Jofresa or Les Fonts neighborhoods will be diverted via Navas de Tolosa and Guillem de Muntanyans Streets.
