The circulation of the R2 north and R11 Rodalies lines has been interrupted between Granollers Centre and Sant Celoni due to a person being hit by a train at an unauthorized crossing between Cardedeu and Llinars del Vallès.

The incident, which occurred yesterday around 4:28 PM, has led to the suspension of rail services on this section, causing significant delays and disruptions across the northern network. According to ADIF, the accident necessitated a halt in train operations.
Rodalia Catalunya has implemented an alternative bus service to cover the route between Granollers Centre and Sant Celoni, later expanding the provision to include connections between Granollers and Les Franqueses del Vallès. Additionally, alternative transport is being arranged for R11 passengers traveling between Figueres and Portbou.
The disruption primarily affects users of the R2 north line, connecting Barcelona with Maçanet-Massanes, and the R11 line, linking Barcelona with Girona and Portbou. The service interruption has caused inconvenience and necessitated alternative travel arrangements for hundreds of passengers.
