Workers at Hi-Lex Auto Parts in Granollers have called off the indefinite strike after reaching an agreement with the Japanese multinational regarding the plant closure and the layoff of 67 employees.

The decision by the management of Hi-Lex Auto Parts to close its plant in the city and dismiss 67 workers immediately triggered an indefinite strike by the workforce in October, protesting the Japanese multinational's decision.
After weeks of negotiations, a pact has been reached, ending the labor conflict. The central element of the agreement is the compensation package for the affected workers, which is set above the established legal minimums.
This economic compensation will be calculated and paid in two different tranches, as detailed in the agreement. With the signing of this pact, the workforce has agreed to call off the strike, concluding the mobilization process that had begun.
