The new Lidl store in Llinars del Vallès officially opened its doors this Friday, October 7th. The town's mayor, accompanied by several members of the government team and municipal technicians, visited the supermarket's facilities, which will begin its commercial activity tomorrow, October 8th.
In recent weeks, the company conducted its staff selection process, resulting in the hiring of 22 people. Of these, 8 are residents of the municipality, a figure that the City Council views positively.
The Lidl management will soon meet with municipal social services to explore potential collaboration initiatives. These efforts will focus on preventing food waste and supporting local food banks.
The Llinars City Council has emphasized the importance of establishing new economic activities within the municipality, particularly those that generate employment and job opportunities for its citizens.
