The gastronomic e-commerce platform Casa Gourmet has presented its wine selection for January, focusing on three red wines from the Navarra Designation of Origin that reflect the region's diversity.

Casa Gourmet kicks off the year with a proposal dedicated to Navarra, considered one of the most versatile designations in the Spanish wine scene. Garnacha, Pinot Noir, and Merlot star in this selection, focusing on the plurality of styles, climates, and soils of the region, always respecting the vineyard and the identity of the origin.
The selection includes six bottles for a price of 44 euros, compared to a real value of 65 euros, featuring the wines Logos Garnacha 2019, Castillo Monjardín Pinot Noir 2019, and Logos Merlot 2019. These three reds offer complementary views of Navarra: the Mediterranean expressiveness of Garnacha, the Atlantic finesse of Pinot Noir, and the structural depth of Merlot.
The Logos Garnacha 2019 wine, produced by Bodega Escudero, is a classic interpretation of the area's most emblematic variety. It comes from low-yield old vines planted on poor calcareous soils. On the nose, it offers floral aromas and ripe fruit with subtle vanilla notes from its barrel aging, resulting in a powerful and fleshy taste.
Meanwhile, the Castillo Monjardín Pinot Noir 2019, from the historic Bodega Castillo de Monjardín, is one of Navarra's most unique reds. It comes from the El Cerezo vineyard, located at 600 meters of altitude, harvested at night and aged in French oak, offering an elegant, precise, and fresh profile, with notes of red fruit and a spicy background.
Finally, the Logos Merlot 2019, also part of the Logos project by Bodega Escudero, originates from mature vineyards cultivated in poor calcareous soils. This wine stands out for its long maceration process and French oak aging, providing complexity and structure. On the palate, it is broad and persistent, with firm yet well-integrated tannins.
