The municipalities of Castelló d’Empúries and Empuriabrava are once again offering a notable cultural agenda for August, focused on live music. The City Council has presented two main events: the Habaneras Cycle in the historic center and the tenth edition of the Nautical Jazz Festival in Empuriabrava.
The Habaneras Cycle will take place in the Plaça dels Homes every Saturday in August, except for the 8th. This emblematic space in the historic center will become a meeting point for lovers of this musical genre, offering evenings designed to enjoy maritime music.
Meanwhile, Empuriabrava will host the tenth edition of the Nautical Jazz Festival on Thursdays, August 13, 20, and 27, in the Plaça de les Palmeres. This festival has established itself as a significant summer event, offering quality concerts in a privileged setting and aiming to bring jazz to all audiences.
The mayor of Castelló d’Empúries, Anna Massot, highlighted the commitment to a quality cultural program that revitalizes public spaces, enriches the cultural offering, and generates economic activity and community. The Councilor for Culture, Josep Maria Gironella, emphasized the intention to bring culture to public spaces with a varied program for all audiences.
