Marta Narberhaus wins the 4th Montserrat Minobis Scholarship for gender study on SX3

Journalist Marta Narberhaus has been awarded the 4th Montserrat Minobis Audiovisual Communication Scholarship in Figueres for her research on gender perspective at SX3.

The Museu de l'Empordà auditorium hosted the ceremony on Friday, March 13th. The winning project focuses on the representation of female journalists and the promotion of equality within the news show InfoK. Narberhaus expressed her gratitude via video, highlighting the program's inclusive values.

Laia Servera, head of children's content at SX3, held a conversation with the Children's Citizen Council of Figueres. She emphasized the importance of providing Catalan-speaking role models in entertainment to encourage language use and stressed the need to foster critical thinking from an early age.
The event was supported by the Col·legi de Periodistes and the Catalan Association of Women Journalists. Councilor Gemma Gironella concluded the act by honoring Montserrat Minobis as a feminist journalism pioneer whose legacy continues to inspire the profession.
