The Roses – Cap de Creus Business Association held a meeting in Roses to discuss the shortage of professional profiles and the challenge of keeping young talent within the local economy.

During the Xerrades per a la Revolució Turística 2.0 cycle at Hotel 1935, experts from Centre Escolar Empordà emphasized that Dual Vocational Training is essential to bridge the gap in sectors like commerce and tourism services.
Proposed solutions include a permanent coordination board and a local internship exchange. These tools aim to provide students with clear professional paths, preventing them from moving to other municipalities for work.
The session was attended by Fèlix Llorens, local councilor for Economic Promotion. The next seminar is scheduled for March 4th and will focus on regional mobility.
