The Espai Àgora in Vilafant will host this Saturday a new edition of the 'Dark Stories of Vilafant' event, focusing on criminal investigation.

This event, organized by the Vilafant Town Council and the Les Forques Neighborhood Association, will bring together experts to delve into true crime episodes that have marked the Girona region. The session will feature forensic expert Narcís Bardalet, journalists Tura Soler and Jordi Grau, and retired Civil Guard officer Enrique Gómez.
The aim is to analyze significant criminal cases from the area, including the well-known kidnapping of the pharmacist from Olot and other notable events in local history. The session will be led by journalist Mairena Rivas, who will moderate a discussion forum.
The conference will offer direct testimonies and professional experiences on how real investigations unfolded, the keys to their resolution, and their impact on the police, judicial, and journalistic fields. According to Enrique Gómez, one of the organizers, the Espai Àgora provides better conditions than the previous year's venue.
