Avinyonet del Penedès has officially inaugurated its new summer pool and two padel courts, completing the fourth phase of the Municipal Sports Complex and reinforcing its commitment to health and leisure.

The municipality of Avinyonet del Penedès celebrated the inauguration of its new municipal summer pool and two padel courts last Saturday. These new facilities mark the completion of phase IV of the Municipal Sports Complex, solidifying it as a key venue for sports and leisure in the Alt Penedès region.
With this expansion, the City Council aims to promote healthy lifestyles, encourage sports participation, and enhance the well-being and social cohesion of its residents. The complex already features a grass football pitch, the new padel courts, two swimming pools, changing rooms, a bar, and space designated for a future gymnasium.
The new swimming pool is designed as a modern and sustainable space, featuring saltwater, an integrated jacuzzi, and careful landscaping that blends with the surrounding pine trees and vineyards. It is also designed with future climate control in mind, potentially allowing for year-round use.

"This project is designed for the people of Avinyonet, for the sport, health, and social cohesion of our municipality, and conceived for present and future generations to enjoy."
