The document, which will guide regional public policies for the next three years, was unveiled in a double session. In the morning, the Vice President of Attention and Services to People, Mireia Tarrats, led the event aimed at technical staff and elected officials.
Researchers from the cooperative La Perifèrica, responsible for drafting the plan, presented the diagnostic section, resulting from extensive fieldwork, interviews, and data analysis on the migratory reality in Alt Urgell. The plan is structured into four main lines of action.
The preparation of the Plan is framed within the legal obligation of local administrations to plan reception and integration policies and to guarantee equal treatment and non-discrimination.
In the afternoon, an open session was held for citizens to share the conclusions and encourage social participation. This space served to emphasize the welcoming vocation of the region and the necessity of community involvement for the plan's success.
